Rocklin Manufacturing celebrates 90th anniversary

Rocklin Manufacturing

Rocklin Manufacturing, a third-generation family business based in Sioux City, Iowa, is celebrating its 90th year in operation. Founded in 1934 by I.J. Rocklin, the company initially offered products focused on farm safety and efficiency. A few years later, the company shifted to military products for World War II, including escape tank hatches and running gear.

After the war, Rocklin began manufacturing portable products, which led to the invention of its Rocklinizer Carbide Applicator and MoldMender Micro Welder. In recent years, the company has formed North American distribution partnerships with international manufacturers producing complementary portable products, including battery-powered FlyMarker dot peen marking units and the MobiLase and LaserEvo portable fiber laser marking units.
